Sue and the Traveling Many Kathy Lou Waskett
Well, Sue was on the train Waiting for some champagne. The forecast showed drizzling rain. She had some time to kill. Took out a book from her satchel. Read about a traveling man.
Traveling from North to South.
Toledo to the coast. Arizona, Boston, to Maine.
Then to the West Indies.
Caught a boat towards the seven seas.
Discovered love and mysteries.
Sue went to sleep. Dreamed of Bob Mason, the traveling man. What wonders they might explore. The wonders of his kiss. What she had missed by working a 10 to 10 job. The night went by and the sun came in and the train stopped at Paddington station. She got off the train. The rain was pouring down. She was tired but glad she was it her destination. She had started in Philadelphia to Virginia and now in London town for a vacation.
When she gor off the train, who should she see but the man of her dreams? Bob Mason was there with flowers and champagne. He said, “You can leave that 10 to 10 evermore. Its you and I from now on.”
Now this is a fable. Just a fable but sometimes dreams can come true. When a American lady, meets a traveling British man. Sparks can ember, in Paddington Station, for ladies like me and you..
