Toxic Love

There are many forms of toxic love. One form is the kind where you love someone that can hurt or destroy you. Another kind is what you do to yourself to make the pain go away. These types of pain are written about frequently in dramas, tabloids, and self-help books. One type of toxic love is rarely written about. It is a love with someone that is over the Internet. You can’t look in the person’s eyes. You don’t know their character or motives. They will tell you the things you want to hear. They will find out what your passions are. Your interests, dreams, and hopes. They will let you talk about your day. They will seem like your best friend. They make you believe that they will always love you. All you have to do is give your money, bank account information, or resources. They will make it up to you. Sadly, people will do this because they want to believe there are still honest and decent people. They are lonely or want to get rich quickly. The end result is devastating and can lead to bankruptcy, despair, and loss of everything you have worked for. Because the victim “allows” the scammer into their accounts, they have to pick up the pieces. There are many Internet scams out there to get people’s money. One of the saddest is where someone is hoping to find love and is deceived online. The scammers’ motive is to get money, property, or something else that is valuable to the person they are contacting. What is sad is that most of the victims do this willingly. They are hoping for someone or something better than what they have. This is a story that deals with one of those situations. I hope that you enjoy the story. I also hope that you will learn from our characters what this kind of love can do.

A Pirate’s Tale: The Pirate and the Illusionist

I set my course for the open sea with
My pillow, my nightlight and cable T.V.
I can imagine pirates, sea dragons and whales.
I can create with my mind a very ‘tall tale.’
Dolphins will become my new best friends.
We will explore lost caves and the fun will never end!
Let the music play and let the gentle breeze blow.
Let me forget all that I know. I am safe under my blanket
And ready to sail as I dream of another pirate’s tale. Discover the adventures as John Smith and family travel into a world of fantasy and adventure.

The Tales of Mr. Finch and Friends: The Waskett Tales

Mr. Finch is from Chiswick in England. It is a wealthy community and many prominent finches live there, including, Miss Tweedle. Mr. Finch checked on the computer one morning, and noticed the want ads. The ad stated a reporter was needed to write an article. Mr. Finch read the requirements and was very interested in talking about the forest and birds in his community. He submitted his article and got the job! The editor wanted to meet his new reporter in person! Follow the story in The Tales of Mr. Finch and Friends. Other stories include: The ballet and tap dancing shoes, given from a grandmother to a granddaughter, that turned out to be magical! The little star that learned the secret how to shine brighter than he had ever shined before. The story of the little seagull that tried to be like the other seagulls, but rose above them all! Enjoy and sit back! Take a seat on a star or sit with Mr. Finch at his favorite fish and chips restaurant. Love and Teddybearhugs!

What's In A Name?

Every name is significant. Your name could have been given in remembrance of a family member, friend, or someone who made a difference.

In Biblical times there were people who had to live up to their names or were given a different name when they went through challenges, times of faith, or adversity. This is a modern day story about a mother and father who decided to give their children names that they hoped their children would grow into. I hope you like the story. Let me know your ideas. Remember your story is either beginning, in the process, or can begin again. It will be what you make it to be. Remember that God is a God of second chances, and He does not give up on us. We can become more vibrant as we learn the value of who we were meant to be and live up to that name.
